Benefit for Union Steward, Paramedic
Jeremy Heary
Jeremy is a 32 year old father, Union Steward and Paramedic for Rural Metro Medical Service. When he was 2 years old, he had a non-functioning kidney removed and two and a half years ago, he was diagnosed with Polycystic Kidney Disease and End Stage Renal Disease!
He is currently on dialysis 6 days a week while waiting for a kidney transplant. As if that wasn’t enough, Jeremy has recently been diagnosed with an infection of the lining of his heart chambers and heart valves! He is currently being treated with intravenous antibiotics in an effort to clear up the infection so that the kidney transplant can take place!
The family is holding a fund raiser to help assist with the many medical expenses associated with the procedures he is undergoing.
