Stewards Refresher Course

This is to notify all stewards that there is a Stewards Refresher Course on January 11, 2012, from 5 to 7pm. This will take place at the Union Hall (656 Englewood Avenue). Any concerns or questions should be directed to the Executive Board.

Christmas Events

The Teamsters will be hosting 2 Christmas events in the month of December to celebrate the holidays as well as help the local community. Please see the calendar for additional details.

Police Visit to General Meeting

At the General Membership Meeting on December 11 at 10:00 am, a police officer from the Tonawanda Commercial Vehicle Squad will be in attendance to talk about regulations and DOT rules. If there are any questions or concerns about the Department of Transportation regulations and commercial vehicles, please forward them to the Hall.

Rural Metro Update

The company has asked the Union to sit down and discuss the attendance policy. We will be meeting with them Tuesday, November 9 at 3:30pm at William Gaiter. If anybody has any suggestions or input, please contact your union steward or the union hall.
